Unfreaking Believable...
The AP just reports this like reporting the weather in Indianapolis: The last major remnant of Saddam Hussein's nuclear program - a huge stockpile of concentrated natural uranium - reached a Canadian port Saturday to complete a secret U.S. operation that included a two-week airlift from Baghdad and a ship voyage crossing two oceans.
The removal of 550 metric tons of "yellowcake" - the seed material for higher-grade nuclear enrichment - was a significant step toward closing the books on Saddam's nuclear legacy. It also brought relief to U.S. and Iraqi authorities who had worried the cache would reach insurgents or smugglers crossing to Iran to aid its nuclear ambitions.
Sadaam had a nuclear program? I thought George W. Bush was convicted and sentenced as a liar by this same useless, biased, so called news agency?
They even bury the punchline at the very bottom (symbolizing their credibility):
The yellowcake issue also is one of the many troubling footnotes of the war for Washington.
A CIA officer, Valerie Plame, claimed her identity was leaked to journalists to retaliate against her husband, former Ambassador Joe Wilson, who wrote that he had found no evidence to support assertions that Iraq tried to buy additional yellowcake from Niger.
A federal investigation led to the conviction of I. Lewis "Scooter" Libby, Vice President Dick Cheney's chief of staff, on charges of perjury and obstruction of justice.
Troubling footnotes? What troubles me is how far this, so called, 'news' agency will go to deceive the public?

Climate Change on Jupiter ? Has Anyone Told Bob Marshall ?
Delegate Bob Marshall walks in Lock Step with the Virginia Sierra Club that of course would have you believe that global warming in the United States due to human activities such as burning coal to make electricity, and driving around in cars.
Big Hint, Mark Warner is of the same opinion:
"A new energy policy will also help us take-on the threat of climate change, letting us reassert America’s moral standing in the world."
Would the two of them like to explain why Jupiter, the fifth planet from the sun is warming at it's equator?
It's the sun, and those crazy solar cycle/flare things... America's Immorality is causing global warming on Jupiter no doubt?
When questioned by 'PhilBilly' at the Waynesboro Mass Meeting, Delegate Marshall tried to play it off like he didn't know where ANWR is.... So his buds down at the Sierra Club wouldn't get all bent out of shape at him no doubt.
The good Delegate has a 200o book library, I think it would be nice if he picked up one on economics and discovered 'supply and demand' is being screwed up by not utilizing our domestic resources for oil and natural gas.
Why would we nominate anyone who doesn't have the backbone to stand up to people and say, "quit the non-sense, we can not control the sun"? What about supporting our miners jobs in SWVA? They should have their livelihoods curtailed because of a bunch of people that can't admit the Sun is causing global warming?
Ever see those neat Discovery channel shows that show the geological history of the earth? The ones that explain why fish fossils are found in the interior of the USA? Wow, the oceans rose and fell? I wonder why?
