American Hero Honored - While Osama goes begging

Navy Seal Lt. Michael Murphy was posthumously honored with the Medal of Honor today at the White House.

Fittingly, Osama Bin Laden goes begging in the face of the resolve by our Armed Forces.

More on the story the MSM is afraid to speak of here, "Resistance is Futile".

Archie Bunker Solves 9-11

So Guiliani goes down to the NRA and tries to make up for his past statements and actions, such as calling his new found friends 'Extremists', and suing gun manufacturers....

If only he would have listened to Archie and not Meat Head... We'd never had 9-11... and that's no BS!

I loved the Archie Bunker Show, but we all know now Carroll O'Conner was a Lib, and this was a good example of satire fired at Conservative opinions, because they were.... stupid? Pistols vs. box cutters... or pistols vs. pistols... the World Trade Centers would still be standing, and thousands of lives saved.... and the dern planes would fly on time, because they wouldnt be shakin your gramma down for tweezers for goodness sakes! Load the plane, and gimme my .357! Notice how Conservatives are attacked as Jew Haters also, (big bankers reference). Funny, wasn't the United States controlled by a bunch of Christians in 1947? How did that Israel thing happen? It's satire, but it also meant to drive home a political wedge, did it not? How many positions do the Libs mock Conservatives on today? Maybe stripping Religious values from classrooms for a start? Wonder if that is being mocked in ABC, NBC, CBS, MTV sitcoms... New generation same propaganda...

Chile 8

417908-848827-thumbnail.jpg(Note the Powder in my ear) Yes, I still wish I was in Chile riding my snowboard... Their season ends around Oct 15th for all the resorts which more or less correlates to March 15th in North American weather.  If you check out these photos notice the one with the cliff face towards the left of the photo.  When we were riding and skiing, we would drop in on the far right by choice as that route was less steep than further down the ridge.  I made the mistake of going a little farther and dropping into the middle which was seriously steep.  I rode my edge (sideways) down half of it before getting the nerve to point the board and blast down the rest of it...

The photo which has me dropping in to the bowl is followed by a picture of the bowl and we dropped in more or less to the left of the middle in that shot.  I did not want to drop in, you could not see the bottom... at all.  We had to hike about 10 or so minutes up from the top lift to get there, and when we did my thoughts were... "what now"? Travis, one of our guides says, "OK, we drop in here"... My thoughts were "I don't think so"...  Travis takes about a five foot run at the lip and off he drops out of sight, and I swear it was at least 6 or 7 seconds before I saw him ride out into the bottom of the bowl and you could see him.

To make a long story short, I took all of a 2 foot run and a hop when I dropped in that is why I land about 6' or 7' below the lip and from there, I was just glad to be alive and riding fast in a lot of powder towards the bottom of the bowl.  It's not the fastest I've ever riden a snowboard, but the fastest ever in powder, and there is that one great shot (Chile 4) of me laying back fully on the edge throwing up a wall of powder.  Many thanks to Claire that took the photos!  She was an awesome guide and cook.
